Fran had the opportunity to connect with fellow evolutionary microbiologists at the 'Understanding and Predicting Microbial Evolutionary Dynamics' conference in Liverpool. She presented a poster showcasing her ongoing research on how environmental and ecological context shape the evolution of social behaviour in bacterial communities.
