Funding received: Understanding cross-resistance between antibiotics and probiotics in Salmonella: Towards a more optimal selection of probiotics

Meng received funding from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) for her project on cross-resistance between antibiotics and probiotics in Salmonella. She will study how exposure to antibiotics and to probiotics (or their metabolites) affects resistance patterns, with the goal of supporting a more rational choice of probiotics.
